Heavy plant aftermarket specialist, Halomec, appointed sole UK (mainland) distributor for LOADRITE™ on-board weighing systems

Halomec, the Stroud-based mobile equipment aftermarket solutions specialist, has secured exclusive distribution in mainland UK for LOADRITE's leading range of on-board weighing systems.

LOADRITE weighing solutions can be installed on excavators, materials handlers, wheel loaders, conveyors, crushers and screens to provide ultra-sensitive, high accuracy weighing with powerful process and data management capabilities.

The technology offers advanced features to improve efficiency and save cost in a range of industries, including construction, quarrying, mining, municipal, waste and recycling, scrap metal, and other materials handling applications.

Headquartered in New Zealand, LOADRITE is the global leader in onboard weighing technology with significant market share in North America and Australasia. It currently commands 70% of the U.S. market for scales of its type. Halomec's appointment in the UK is part of a current drive to increase LOADRITE's market presence in Europe.

LOADRITE'S latest innovations include the L-2180 wheel loader scale, the most accurate system available on the market. It also manufactures the market's highest precision, truly dynamic excavator weighing system. This can be used in a variety of applications including quarry pit loading and materials handling where accuracy of loading is a major requirement. Optional data recording and data management enhance the system further.

LOADRITE is also revolutionising productivity and process control in aggregate production with its 'whole site' concept for weighing and inventory management. The company has developed sophisticated software that provides integrated data reporting for the entire extraction process, from initial blast to loading out.

Halomec has already received its first order for LOADRITE products. The Raymond Brown Group has invested in three LOADRITE Express systems for plant at its aggregates, minerals and recycling divisions in Dorset and Wiltshire. These were installed on Caterpillar 962H and 966H wheeled loaders and have recently been put into service.

Established in 2005, Halomec supplies, installs and services high quality aftermarket solutions to maximise performance, service life, safety and profitability of heavy plant and equipment. In addition to LOADRITE weighing solutions, the company also distributes Lincoln automatic lubrication systems and Alphaview vehicle CCTV.
