The Haver Hydro-Clean® has been successful on the market since 1998 and is used for washing materials and building products that are heavily laden with clay and loam.
This year Haver & Boecker recently launched the third Haver Hydro-Clean® generation onto the market. Just recently the first two Haver Hydro-Clean® 1000 III machines were installed at a customer in Alaska.
The objective of the Haver Hydro-Clean® overhaul was to simplify the function of the machine and to reduce the number of components in order to reach a price reduction for customers. In addition, the new third generation has a compact design. Maintaining functionality was also always kept at the forefront during the design overhaul. Reducing the machine dimensions so that it could fit inside a cargo container was another aim of the overhaul.
The already known benefits with respect to reduced operating costs have not changed: only 0.1 — 0.2 m³/hr of water in circulation are necessary to wash one ton of heavily soiled input material using the minimal energy consumption of 0.3 — 0.5 kWh.
With the optimized technology, we now have a machine design that has a minimal impact on the environment, while still allowing the extraction of saleable products from heavily soiled reserves. This is precisely why the customer in Alaska has installed the two Hydro-Clean® III machines. Additional projects involving more Hydro-Clean® machines of the latest generation are already in discussion.
