Firstgrade Recycling Systems launch the new Force 8 wind separator at RWM 2010

Firstgrade Recycling Systems will be hoping to create a storm when they launch their Force 8 air separator at RWM 2010.

Designed and built in the UK, the Force 8 has been developed to separate recycled materials according to their aerodynamic drag. "Its main application is to clean up recycled aggregates", says Alan Valentine of Firstgrade, "but it has many other applications such as cleaning up wood, metals, plastic and compost."

The Force 8 incorporates a Vibrating screen to remove fines and oversize from the product, before it is fed into the air separation chamber. The lighter product is lifted up by a controlled stream of air, and pneumatically conveyed away. The heavy product falls through the separation chamber onto an elevator for discharge.

The Force 8 will be officially launched on the first day of the exhibition, and prices will be announced on that date.
Firstgrade also manufacture Trommel Screens, Vibrating Screens, Water Separators, Conveying Systems and Picking Stations. Systems can be designed and built to suit individual customers requirements.
