New board member proposed for Atlas Copco AB

Stockholm, Sweden, February 2, 2010: Atlas Copco's Nomination Committee proposes Gunilla Nordström as a new member of the Board of Directors of Atlas Copco AB, for election at the Annual General Meeting 2010.
The proposal includes re-election of board members Sune Carlsson, Chair, Jacob Wallenberg, Vice Chair, Ronnie Leten, Ulla Litzén, Anders Ullberg, Staffan Bohman, Margareth Øvrum, Christel Bories, and Johan Forssell.
Gunilla Nordström, born in 1959, is Executive Vice President AB Electrolux and head of Electrolux Major Appliances Asia Pacific, based in Singapore.
Since 1983, Gunilla Nordström has served in several senior management positions with Ericsson and Sony Ericsson in Europe, Latin America and Asia where her last position was President of Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications (China) and Corporate Vice President of Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB. Her different positions have covered production, logistics, product development, sales and marketing as well as regional and global management roles.
Gunilla Nordström is also a board member of Videocon Industries Limited, India and Luleå University of Technology. She has a Master of Science from Linköping University of Technology.
