The washing people to debut at BAUMA 2010

CDE Global, the Northern Ireland manufacturers of washing equipment for the quarrying, mining and recycling industries have announced their debut at Bauma 2010 in Munich, Germany.

The company has earned the tag ‘The Washing People' in recent years following their delivery of numerous turnkey washing projects throughout the world. The most significant of these being two 1200 ton per hour sand washing projects in Qatar which were delivered on a turnkey basis.

In addition to these signature projects in the Middle East the company counts all of the major global construction materials producers among its customers. Having been established in 1992 CDE Global initially focused their attention on their home market in Ireland and Great Britain.

An appetite for growth as well as a proven product line ensured that they soon moved beyond the markets in Ireland and the UK. The global headquarters still remains in Cookstown, Northern Ireland with further offices now established in Kolkata and Bangalore in India as well as Doha and Dubai in the Middle East. In addition to this global office network the company also has a growing list of distributors covering Europe, Africa and South America with further plans to expand into North America and Australasia in the coming months and years.

CDE focus exclusively on washing equipment and it is this focus that has allowed them to earn a reputation for innovation in this sector. "Exclusively focusing on washing equipment is a little unusual" says Ivanoff. "Most of the equipment manufacturers within our sector will offer both wet and dry processing systems but it is through our focus on washing that we are able to offer customers the most efficient systems available on the world market."

CDE will be using the appearance at Bauma 2010 to launch the latest addition to their product portfolio, the M2500, which is a fully integrated feeding, screening and washing plant designed specifically for washing applications. "While other variations on mobile wet screening started life as dry screens and were then converted through the crude addition of some spray bars, the M2500 has been designed specifically as a mobile washing plant" explains CDE Marketing Manager, Peter Craven.

While theM2500 will be displayed on the CDE stand at Bauma 2010 the company also offers a wide range of other equipment to those involved in wet processing. The range includes feed hoppers and conveyors, the Prograde screening range, attrition systems such as Atrofeed, RotoMax and AggMax, the Evowash sand washing plants, AquaCycle thickeners and a full range of filter presses.

In terms of projects where CDE equipment has been applied, the list is comprehensive and includes sand washing, crusher dust washing, lignite removal, specialist sand production - filter sands for municipal waste water treatment and USPGA specification golf sands being the two main players here, construction and demolition waste recycling and iron ore washing.
