New portable pod system for sludge processing

With the growing demand to process sludge's from aggregate washing plants, and to comply with health and safety requirements Manvers Engineering have developed the unique pod system which contains the High performance Baioni Centrifuge complete with the polymer system, and the user friendly control panel which can be controlled manually or automatically. The pod system can be set up on site and be operational within 2 hours. The system can be configured in various ways allowing it to be installed in confined spaces which are often required by inner city recycling plants. This portability allows the pod system to moved from site to site with minimal installation costs.

The BAIONI high performance centrifuge combined with Manvers experience in separation equipment design and manufacture  have produced a system that is a benefit to the environment by being able to produce useable clean water which can be returned to the washing plant and eliminating the traditional use of  ponds and lagoons for settlement of fines and water storage.

The sludge can be centrifuged to level of dryness which can be handled and transported without further release of water;  this allows inner city recycling plant to dispose of material to conventional dry tips and for sand and gravel  pits and quarries to redistribute in their own quarry or pit.

The capacity of the centrifuge pod system ranges from 2-20 tph of solids/hr, depending on the model of the BAIONI high performance centrifuge used .
