Linatex launch new range of valves.

Linatex will launch their new valve range in January 2010. This launch will showcase a total new range of standardised valves split into various types.

Linatex Globally has specialised in the design of process equipment that utilises the unique characteristics of Linatex Rubber. The launch of our new valves in 2010 is no exception as it is lined in Linatex abrasion and wear resistant rubber as standard, and is particularly suitable for handling abrasive or corrosive liquids and solids.

The new range of standardised valves which will offer the lowest cost to the marketplace is the result of significant research. A newly appointed Global Valve Product Manager has ensured that Linatex has a common design and size range based on the best elements of regional designs, whilst incorporating the latest design and material technology.

This research has resulted in numerous benefits:

• Common part numbers
• Common manufacturing locations
• Common marketing, technical literature, brochures and other collateral requirements

Rationalising the range of valves has not only reduced the overall size but with improved optimum casting techniques the overall length has also been reduced.

With established markets in the aggregate industry the new range will offer 9 different liner options which can be marketed within the water and waste treatment, power generation, pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries.

The new standardised range incorporates 7 options:

Control Pinch Valve - available with either a closed body encasing the closing mechanism, or an open body where cost is at a premium. Range from 25-600mm

Pneumatic Pinch Valve - one piece or a two piece liner for more heavy duty applications - good applications for the cement industry). Range from 25-350mm.

Check Valve - single and double. The double non return (DNR) is quite unique in that it will only accept one feed whilst automatically shutting the other inlet with no manual operation required. The single non return (SNR) stops any material flowing back through the pump with a simple flap arrangement. Range from 25-350mm

Knife Gate Valve is a range of extremely robust and heavy duty valves that Linatex have been marketing in S.Africa. Options of different seats of either metal or rubber with applications within the power industry. Range from 50-600mm.

The launch of the new standardised valve range clearly illustrates Linatex is dedicated to working with its customers in developing solutions for their problems. The international network of Linatex ensures that the highest standards in production, technical development, customer service and distribution are achieved. There is no equivalent to Linatex.
