It is easily configurable, with a wide range of interfaces to provide a solution for virtually any weighing process in a hazardous area.
Says Donald Halbert product manager at Avery Weigh-Tronix: "Often tailored solutions to meet specific weighing are too specific and lack additional functionality. That is not the case with the E1250, which can be easily configured to meet virtually all weighing applications. Not only that but it is simple to upgrade to future proof your investment.
"We have combined the functionality of 14 different indicators into this single instrument. It can manage your process in stand-alone mode or integrate into your existing networks to provide reliable, real time weight data. Using E1250 will help you reduce costs, increase throughput and tighten management control."
Approved for use in Zones 1 and 2 for gases and Zones 21 and 22 for dusts, the new Evolution E1250 can be used with a wide range of ATEX- approved load cells and weighing hardware within hazardous areas to form a complete weight based process control system.
Applications that E1250 can be used for include: bag filling, recipes and process control, gas cylinder filling, blending and batching liquids and solids, checkweighing, in motion weighing, pack runs, totalising, weighbridge and terminal mode.
Continues Halbert: "Few companies can match our ATEX load cell, hardware and industrial systems' integration expertise when providing a complete weighing and process control solution for hazardous areas."
Evolution E1250 is trade approved to 10,000 divisions for fast weights and measures compliant weighing. Data is stored both locally, for future reference, or can be transmitted out of the hazardous area via fibre optic technology to interface with SCADA or other process control systems. Each indicator can connect to up to two weighing platforms.
It can also be used for portable applications, with a rechargeable battery pack and a special stored print application. Weight data can be collected from the plant, stored and then printed out in a safe area later.
The indicator is easy to use with a 28 key membrane keyboard for tare entry, zero, start/stop process and other functions plus a clear backlit dot-graphic display. It is housed in an IP67 stainless steel enclosure.
