The Recycling and Waste Management exhibition recently took place at the Birmingham NEC and despite the current economic climate, managed to attract a great number of visitors from all over the world. On each of the three days, the visitors turned up in their thousands to experience a show that was much larger than any of its previous years and included many new features such as the JCB Visitor lounge and a Korean Pavilion hosting 20 companies. The expansion of the show vastly improved the exposure of todays latest recycling technologies from around the world.
As mentioned in our previous news story, Master Magnets had opted to exhibit on a larger stand for this years show and by demonstrating a Metal Detector unit, the enquiries obtained for the Metal Detection range of products increased by 125%.
Sales manager, Jim Wyllie writes: "The Mastermag sales team really enjoyed discussing applications with everybody that visited the stand and I am pleased to say that we are now very busy working through all of the enquiries that were received at the show."
During the show, Master Magnets obtained a fantastic order from Recresco for another Eddy Current Separator sytem, bringing Recresco's total amount of Mastermag ECS units to six! This new unit will be installed at their new Avonmouth depot and follows the success of the five previous units located at their three other UK plants.
Master Magnets have already reserved their stand for RWM 2010 following the success of this years show and we are really looking forward to seeing what the show has in store next time round.
