Powerscreen ready to meet demands of growing Indian market

HOSUR, INDIA, September 03, 2009 -- Powerscreen, one of the world's leading providers of mobile crushing and screening equipment, has expanded manufacturing and distribution to meet the demands of the Republic of India's ambitious infrastructure building plans and its growing commercial market. Versatile Powerscreen® machines will now be built in-country, with sales and support provided by a newly enhanced distribution network.  Powerscreen operations worldwide are part of the Terex Corporation.

Terex Corporation's have now opened a fully operational purpose-built facility for the manufacturing of tracked and wheeled crushing and screening equipment in Hosur, India. Later this year three new distributors will join the first Indian distributor of Powerscreen® equipment, Voltas, which has pioneered the mobile crushing and screening concept in India. Voltas are committed to providing the highest levels of service and support to customers and in further developing the Indian market.
