- Recycling
Blue is a total solutions provider, offering the recycling, waste management industries, local authority waste treatment plants and transfer stations a wide range of shredding, composting, screening, crushing, recycling and conveying equipment for the efficient and cost-effective processing of all waste streams. The increasing demand for bespoke recycling plants for processing mixed waste is providing Blue Group with a growing market in this specialist area. Compatible machinery ranges, coupled with experienced teams of design, installation and commissioning engineers, mean that Blue Group can create productive and efficient plants by combining separation, stockpiling, sorting and conveying equipment to produce an optimum recycling solution to suit not only the waste streams to be treated but also the constrictions of designated site areas. Blue Group's display at RWM09 will clearly demonstrate the economical and environmental benefits of their tailor-made systems.
Blue's portfolio of distributorships includes Doppstadt shredders and chippers, Kiverco bespoke recycling plants, Nihot controlled air separators, Powerscreen screening, washing and recycling equipment, TEREX Pegson mobile crushing plants, Backhus compost and soil turning machinery, General Kinematics finger screens and destoners, Telestack static, mobile and telescopic conveyors. In the domestic and commercial solid waste fields, Blue Group is also a distributor for the Marathon ranges of fully automatic two-ram and channel balers, Pellenc high technology detection and separation machines and markets its own BMG2270 compact, semi-automatic closed end baler.
New to the Blue Portfolio
New equipment being featured on the Blue Group stand - with demonstration DVDs and graphic presentation - include the latest developments from Powerscreen International, TEREX Pegson and Doppstadt.
From Powerscreen, the Warrior 800 and Warrior 2400 represent opposite ends of the Warrior range of mobile screening plants for the recycler. From market entry size right up to high-volume 750 tonnes per hour operation, the Warrior series is arguably the leading and best-selling screening plant range available on the market today. Warrior screeners are designed and built for separating and stockpiling the widest possible variances in inert and green raw waste materials.
TEREX Pegson continues its renowned product development programme with two recently introduced mobile crushers at the heavy end of the ranges. The XA 750 jaw crusher and the XC 950 cone crusher are indicative of the robust and productive design and manufacture for which TEREX Pegson is globally acclaimed and are capable of large volume crushing to specified sizes in recycled aggregate production.
From Doppstadt, the new Star Screen SM-1200 Triflex is a 3-fraction mobile shredder and the DZ-750 Kombi combines slow pre- and fast fine-shredding. Both are designed and built for the shredding of domestic, green, C&D waste and woodwaste and are ideal for the production of biomass and RDF.
Blue Spares - After Sales Product Support
Blue Spares - the essential provider of genuine OEM spare parts for the main distributorships of Blue Group - is well represented on the stand at RWM09 and will also feature a display spotlighting Doppstadt after sales product support and spares availability. With established spares holdings exceeding £1.5 Million held at Blue's Warrington and Stirling premises and approximately 13,000 line items available off the shelf at any one time, Blue Spares is dedicated to ensure that their product support is second-to-none and that "downtime" is eradicated from their customers' dictionary! The company has developed a "24/7" network spares service for UK customers and provides a genuine 24 hours parts turnround. A recent major investment in state-of-the-art IT and a proactive attitude towards customer support confirm a real commitment to national after sales excellence, so that investors in any of the products marketed by Blue Group can be assured that the backup matches the quality and productivity of the capital equipment.
