First UK hinge topped floor scale for easy cleaning

Avery Weigh-Tronix claims to have launched the easiest to clean floor scale range on the market, with the UK's first hinge topped product. With each weighbar hermetically sealed to IP68, the new floor scale is designed for heavy washdown applications. 

The hinge top has stainless steel struts to lift the top deck and a safety latch that keeps the deck propped up while the under structure is cleaned.  The tubular designed frame eliminates hidden areas where contaminates could hide.

In common with other Avery Weigh-Tronix floor scales, the new range uses the company's patented Weigh Bar weight sensor.  A 30-month study demonstrates that the Weigh Bar is between 15 to 25 times more reliable than competitive load cells.

Available in a variety of different sizes, the 304 stainless steel tread plate provides a slip-resistant surface.  It is also available with a smooth plate.  The new range can be pit mounted flush so that it is flush to the floor or connect to ramps for accessibility.

The scale is supplied with a remote junction box, which can be wall mounted for extra protection during washdown.  This junction box can be mounted up to 20 ft away from the scale and is supplied with a further 25 ft of cable for attachment to an indicator
