Scotia appointed as new Terex regional distributor in Scotland

MOTHERWELL, SCOTLAND, 22nd JAN 2009  --- Scotia Plant Ltd (part of the Ballyvesey Group) has been appointed Scotland regional distributor for Terex United Kingdom Limited. They will cover and distribute the full-line range of Terex Construction compact equipment, covering the Scottish borders from Forfar in the East and Fort William in the West.

Customers will benefit from Scotia's total commitment to holding a full range of product stock, a comprehensive parts holding, and will operate a full 24/7 after sales support service from their new depot.

Product lines on offer will include: Mini Dumpers, Site Dumpers, Backhoe Loaders, Pedestrian Rollers, Vibratory Rollers, Mini Excavators, Midi Excavators, Wheeled Excavators, Wheeled Loaders, Mixers, and Compaction Plates. In addition Scotia Plant will promote the Genie® Telehandler range.

Managing Director Simon Gamble said: "We are delighted that Terex has chosen our company as the distributor for the region. We are fully focused and intend to meet the aspirations of growth expected by the Terex organisation. We have appointed Martin Webb as our General Manager who has many years of experience in equipment sales.
