ENGCON Automatic Quick Hitch Becomes First To Be SWL Tested

In what is believed to be a first in the UK plant industry, Engcon, the world's leading manufacturer of tiltrotators, now offers a full automatic quick hitch with a certified safe working load (SWL).
The fully automatic S60 quick hitch has been tested by Lloyds British Testing to an SWL of 10 tonnes and a proof load of 20 tonnes. The hitch enables buckets and other attachments to be quickly changed from the operators cab.
Pat Bulcock from Engcon said "Following the work undertaken by Lloyds British Testing we believe we are the first company to offer an SWL tested fully automatic quick hitch on the UK market. This is supported by the fact that Engcon hitches have long been accepted in the European rail and construction markets".
