Requip Supplies Ltd have been contacted by a European Foundry to trial a newly developed Manganese Steel called T12/20 which can be used in Jaw and Cone Crushers.
This material has the toughness of MnCr 12.2 and the wear resistance of MnCr 20.3.
In trials carried out on an abrasive application crushing River Gravel, increases of up to 50% in tonnes crushed per set of jaws was recorded.
Any Quarrying or Crushing Company who believe they have an application which would suit a trial of T12/20 Manganese is welcome to make contact with Requip Supplies Ltd to be considered for participation in the forthcoming UK trials.
