High Output Crushing From Tesab

High Output Crushing From Tesab
Northern Ireland based Tesab Engineering has continued to develop their well known Impactor range. Building on the performance and simplicity of the 623 model, which they continue to offer, they have developed the larger capacity1412T track mounted Impactor. The principle behind this development is to provide the customer with a machine that has the capacity of feeding it direct from the primary crushing stage, used as a stand alone unit or integrated into today's modern high output screening plant.

The machine is fitted with a rear shovel loading hopper on a 1200mm "Grade X" feed belt, with the option of metal detection to protect the crusher, ideal for both aggregate or sticky applications such as coal or chalk. In fact the machine has recently proven a success in the production of agricultural lime in a difficult to process, sticky chalk application. The crusher has a 1000 x 550mm feed opening into 4 hammer, 1200mm diameter rotor, both the apron and bar carrier are hydraulically adjustable.

Tesab provide the option of the "standard user" C9 (300hp) Caterpillar Powerpack or the larger "contractor" C13 (440hp) version to increase output to 275 tph+. Both machines are direct V Belt drive to the crusher via a hydraulically operated clutch. The 1000mm discharge conveyor has a discharge height of 3.45m and is driven through a torque hub for maximum efficiency.

Recently Tesab have added an additional conveyor to the system to allow the customer to integrate and close the circuit with practically any of today's modern screening plant. Thus maximizing the plants capabilities and eliminating the need to stockpile unwanted products, which would require re-processing.

Further to this the Tesab range now extends to include two models of tracked jaw crusher. The 10570 model with jaw size 1100mm × 700mm is distinctive for its twin feeders design with double deck screening pushing production into 300tph+. The 10580 model is principally designed for the hard rock application with a combination extra long jaws and a unique nip angle.

These recent introductions to the Tesab range now allow the manufacturer to offer a complete crushing solution from primary through to tertiary crushing. With the principle of simple and robust designs that are built to last Tesab offer a refreshing alternative in a competitive market.
