New products abound on Weightron Bilanciai’s stand (338) at RWM

Leading industrial weighing manufacturer Weightron Bilanciai are using this year's Recycling and Waste Management Show (NEC September 16^th-18^th 2008) to introduce a number of innovative weighbridge concepts including their solar powered system for remote sites, Weightron Connect software, electronic signature pad and automatic number plate recognition system.

These important additions to the Weightron range of weighbridges are specifically designed to increase operational flexibility, improve site security, increase vehicle throughout and optimise weight data management.

SolarWeigh

The SolarWeigh solar power system provides the ideal solution for powering weighbridge installations in areas where mains power is not readily available. This 100% ‘green' power option brings optimum operational flexibility in a wide range of remote applications, making it ideal for the Waste & Recycling, Quarrying, and Agricultural industries.

Weightron Connect

Weightron Connect is a versatile software package designed for multiple site/weighbridge operations. This easy to use software allows powerful, simple data collection from up to 10 sites. Four on screen weight displays from different weighbridges can be stored at any one time. Files, which can be downloaded weekly, daily, or hourly, are stored in .CSV format for import into standard spreadsheets such as Access and Excel.

VisionWeigh Automatic Number Plate Recognition System
Weightron's VisionWeigh Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system provides a powerful and flexible tool for a wide range of weighbridge based operations, especially at remote or unmanned installations. VisionWeigh introduces a high level of site control and security, allowing pre-registered vehicles to carry out weighing procedures in a highly efficient manner. The system, which can be used to operate traffic lights and control security barriers, is an important asset to any driver-operated system.

 

Number plate details can be programmed directly into the Weightron D800 weight terminal without the need for a separate PC and related information can include product descriptions and vehicle tare weights. The use of stored tare weights removes the need for double weighing, thereby speeding up collection or delivery procedures. VisionWeigh can read dirty plates and compensates for variations in plate reflectivity, strong headlamps and adverse weather conditions.

Electronic Signature Pad

Weightron believe they are the first UK weighbridge manufacturer to offer electronic signature pad capabilities for their driver-operated weighbridge systems. The robust pads are fully compatible with Weightron's WinWeigh weighbridge software package and can either be integrated into the Weightron's Self Box terminal or located in the weighbridge office.

 
The electronic signatures provide a permanent record for each weighing. The specific weighing procedure determines where the pads are located and drivers may be required to sign in order to gain entry to and/or exit from any particular weighbridge. The signing process gives added security and traceability to the weighing process, whilst triggering an output to control traffic lights or barriers.

 
Weightron's range of pit and surface weighbridges include steel, steel concrete composites and pre-stressed concrete versions. Also on display will be Weightron's range of pallet truck scales, forklift truck scales and floor scales, ideally suited to waste management and recycling operations.
