Blue Spares – Proactive After Sales Product Support

- 25th August 2008
- Quarrying
In order to offer the very best service to their customers, huge investment has been made on new premises, larger stockholding and qualified personnel. The recently appointed Sean Warburton has been brought in as commercial manager to bring a fresh approach and to drive the business forward in new directions. Sean's remit from the Blue Group board of directors is to further increase the focus on proactivity in meeting customers' needs and help to minimise downtime even more by improving prompt, off-the-shelf parts delivery right across the range.
Sean Warburton brings a broad experience to Blue Spares from both the public and private sectors in construction, logistics, retail, recycling and manufacturing, plus commercial acumen with a management accountancy background. Blue Spares is also recruiting additional spares sales personnel, rebuilding and extending their parts storage facilities and looking at offering a variety of standard and bespoke parts and service contracts to the Group's growing customer base. "I want Blue Spares to be the number one spares provider in the UK", says Sean Warburton, "and our rebranding, significant investment and concentration on genuine OEM spares, with the economy of volume that this brings, make our target very realistic".
Blue Spares is the essential provider of genuine OEM spare parts for the main distributorships of the Blue Group - Powerscreen, TEREX Pegson and Doppstadt. As well as this core offering, Blue Spares can source parts for other recycling equipment including those of the rest of Blue Group's portfolio of products. With established spares holdings exceeding £1.4 Million held at Blue's Warrington and Stirling premises and approximately 13,000 line items available off the shelf at any one time, Blue Spares is well advanced in plans for a bright future and, parallel to the recent Group rebranding, is repositioning and revitalising with a view to growing the business significantly over the next twelve months.
Blue Spares is dedicated to ensure that their product support is second-to-none and that "downtime" is eradicated from their customers' dictionary! The company has developed a "24/7" network spares service for UK customers and provides a genuine 24 hour parts turnround. With this kind of commitment to product support, investors in any of the products marketed by Blue Group can be assured that the after-sales backup matches the quality and productivity of the capital equipment.
