Brian Dent Limited celebrates 50 years in the business

Initially specialising in agricultural contracting, then gradually moving into plant and tool hire, Clitheroe based Brian Dent Limited is proud to celebrate 2008 as its 50th year in business.

Formed by the late Brian Dent in 1958, the company is now run by Mrs Dent as company Director and the second generation of the Dent family, sons William, Stephen, and daughter Carol.

Their latest investment is a Komatsu PC240LC-8 super long front tracked excavator, which joins the existing fleet of 500 items of plant, small tools and equipment.

The 18m super long front boom and arm, fitted with additional counter-weight for long reach working, is available for hire unoperated and operated in the North West of England.

Stephen Dent, joint Managing Director of Brian Dent Limited comments:

"Komatsu machinery has been part of our fleet since the early 1980's, initially with mini excavators and more recently, PC130 tracked excavators and a D61 dozer. We have found Komatsu machinery to be very reliable and robust with good product support and an excellent resale value."
