Linatex launch new range of Compact Sand Plants

As first seen at Hillhead, Linatex are pleased to present their new range of Compact plant to the market. In response to the higher incidence of short life quarry deposits and the resulting market trend away from capital intensive 'fixed' plant, Linatex have developed scaled down, tried and tested classification and in-line blending technology, utilising the same high efficiency, with low maintenance, flexibility and ease of installation.  The Linatex range of Compacts will offer strong competition for other manufacturers of portable plant, with the benefit of a small 'footprint' and rapid deployment. 

The range of three Linatex Compacts are designed to handle feed rates of up to 150 tonnes per hour of –6mm as "raised material" and to produce a single grade washed product, dewatered and suitable for direct stockpiling.

The Compact Range can be configured to perform simple washing, ie: the reduction of -63 micron material. Typical applications would be the processing of primary products such as construction sands for concrete, building, mortars, asphalt etc, industrial sands & leisure sand dressings.

The Linatex Compact can be configured for fines recovery, ie maximum recovery down to 50 micron. The system is able to effect the capture of useful material from effluent streams, or de-gritting of effluent to reduce loading on effluent treatment plant such as thickeners. 
 
A third configuration offers fines classification below 125 micron. Typical application would be for the correction of fines content in a concrete sand in order to meet specific grading requirement. 

Compact Split Twin
Designed to accept a twin feed from the aggregate sizing screens, for example -5 and -3mm sand fractions. The Compact Split Twin facilitates adjustment of the product specifications by enabling manual blending of the fine fraction to the coarse.
The unit is fitted with a Linatex VD9 Dewatering Screen fitted with adjustable division plate for discharge to two stacking conveyors

Linatex Compact Multi-Blend
The Multi-Blend unit is a compact version of Linatex’s tried and tested in-line blending technology.
The New Linatex X-Type Classifier splits the feed sand into three discrete fractions then using PLC control enables the user to proportionally re-blend these fractions to achieve the desired product specification.

The Compact Multi Blend is designed to accept either a twin feed from the aggregate sizing screens, for example -5 & -3mm sand fractions, or a single feed, providing the coarse/medium fraction differentiation.
The unit minimises water usage by re-cycling of process water for use as up-current in the X-Type Classifier.
