The SED 2008 Awards for Excellence are announced.

The awards were given to the most innovative new products introduced to the UK market during the past year, judged by an independent panel of industry experts, including Colin Timms from Off-Highway Research Ltd, Tim Whiteman managing director of the International Powered Access Federation, Steve Jarvis of Edmund Nuttall, Richard Day technical director, The Concrete Society, Philip Jolly of PJ Brown Ltd and Douglas Anderson joint Managing director Gap Group.
There were a record amount of entries this year and the awards are an accolade to the very best in plant, construction machinery, support products and applications. All of which will be on display at SED 2008 Rockingham Motor Speedway, Corby Northamptonshire from 13th - 15th May.
In addition to the overall winners there were a number of companies who have been shortlisted and received a special commendation for their contribution to industry innovation.
