JCC unveil 4 new models at Scotplant 2008
 
John Craig Contracting unveil their 2008 range of picking stations and trommel screens at Scotplant 2008 and are exhibiting on Avenue A, stand number 9.
 
This is the first time that JCC have showcased their products at Scotplant 2008 and it is envisaged that this showcase will further enhance the growing nationwide reputation for their exciting and dynamic products.
 
JCC will be showcasing the following systems from the 2008 model range.
 
MPS4 mobile picking station
 
This mobile picking station system includes as standard all the refinements expected from today's recycling equipment:
 
-    Heavy duty frame construction with large feed hopper, impact section & 1200mm belts
-    Fully insulated cladding & double glazed windows & doors
-    3 metre hydraulic ram height for 40 yard skips
-    5th wheel & road legal axle for mobility
-    Overband magnet & frame
-    Pull wire emergency stop system
-    Fully enclosed hydraulic powerpack & engine
 
JCC have mobile picking stations for purchase or to hire.
 
Stirling Council have recently installed the mobile picking station at Polmaise Landfill, Stirling.
 
 MPT6 mobile picking table
 
The MPT6 mobile picking table was specifically designed for three main purposes - additional picking facilities without any upheaval, screening demolition waste, and for smaller skip hire companies. With the new regulations in place for construction waste, the MPT6 mobile picking table is the perfect solution for on site recycling of construction waste and is available for hire for only £250 per week.
 
The hooklift picking tables include the following as standard:
 
-    1200mm chevron picking belt
-    6 picking platforms
-    Guarding to BS:7300
-    Emergency stop system
-    Full hydraulic powerpack
-    Hooklift / crane mobility system
-    Impact section & hopper at feed end
 
Thurlow Countryside Management (T-C-M) have the hooklift picking station on hire for ongoing contracts in London.
 
TSPS24 Static twin picking line picking station
 
The TSPS24 picking station takes the form of a 24 man picking station complete with twin picking lines, twin belt magnets, twin blower/air knife system and incline feed conveyors.
 
The picking station has been designed for maximum efficiency & comfort of the operators of the picking station including 3m clearance for the extended discharge chutes, 3m wide segregation bays, double glazed doors and windows, insulated cladding, and a heating & lighting system.
 
A&M Smith of Aberdeen have recently installed the TSPS24 picking station at Bankhead Recycling System.
 
STR7 7 screen static trommel system
 
The 7 screen system includes a low level conveyor system to feed a 7 screen, 1800mm diameter trommel screen with stockpiling conveyor. The 1200mm wide feed conveyor system comprises a slow speed, feeder conveyor and a faster speed incline conveyor to feed the trommel screens.
 
The 7 screen trommel is fabricated using heavy duty universal beam construction with 5mm hardox steel punch plates for longer life capabilities. The first 4 screens with be 10mm screens to extract the under 10mm product, followed by another 3 screens with 35mm screens to extract the 10-35mm product. The remaining product will fall onto the stockpiling conveyor at the end of the trommel screen.
 
Fabricated bays under the screens will aid collection and separation of each product.The trommel system is powered by a stand alone hydraulic powerpack.
 
This trommel system is available for compost and aggregate capabilities.
 
Stirling Council have recently installed the trommel system at Polmaise, Stirling.
