Morley Waste Traders Ltd

Morley Waste Traders Ltd one of Yorkshire's leading processors of iron, steel and other ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals have recently taken delivery of a new Ing. Bonfiglioli "transportable" car baler, supplied by E H Hassell and Sons Ltd (UK and Eire Ing. Bonfiglioli dealer).

Antony Whittaker "We have been thinking about a transportable car baler for a number of years. The flexibility of being able to deliver the baler into our yards by our roll on / roll off vehicles made the decision much easier. The additional benefit of the baler having its own crane and grab, means that apart from a forklift on site ( to bring the scrap cars to and from the baler ) , we can be in any yard and baling cars within just a few minutes. Then once the cars are baled we can store them much easier and safer in the yard. In addition, being able to get around three times more cars into a transport vehicle when baled , we are also saving on our transport cost. Which is very important, when we transport the baled cars to our new scrap metal shredder site in Hull.

Having looked at various manufacturers we chose the Ing. Bonfiglioli "transportable" baler. "We had heard good things about the product. So we went down to E H Hassell and Sons Ltd premises to take a look at a baler, sorted out a deal and the machine was delivered and installed in a matter of weeks. We also liked the fact that the dealer was an established company in the scrap metal equipment market.

We have now been using the baler for around 4 weeks, and now we are used to it, can bale around 20 cars per hour. The finished bale is very compact even when you leave the engines and gear boxes in the cars."

Ing. Bonfiglioli are a family owned and managed company, with its manufacturing plant in Bologna Italy, they produce a range of scrap metal processing equipment and cranes for HGV's.

Ian Hassell, the Managing Director of E H Hassell & Sons said: "Since we added the Ing. Bonfiglioli product range to our existing Sennebogen material handler range, it has allowed us to better service and support the scrap metal industry, our key market."

Founded in 1974, E H Hassell & Sons still remains a family owned and run company. From its location in Stoke on Trent, it provides the complete solution for the scrap metal industry, being the UK and Eire dealer for Ing. Bonfiglioli scrap metal processing equipment and Sennebogen material handlers.
