Parts Sales Executive


Reports to: Commercial Director

Location: Telestack Ltd. Bankmore Way East. Omagh. Co. Tyrone.

Working hours: Whilst the Company does not operate flexi-time, we do have two options for your working week, you will be asked to select from one option below.

Option 1: Monday – Thursday 0800 – 1700 hrs
Friday 0800 – 1430 hrs

Option 2: Monday – Thursday 0830 – 1730 hrs
Friday 0830 – 1500 hrs

Main purpose of the job.
You will be responsible for developing and leading our strategy to grow the Parts Business within the company including sales, inventory stock management, data management , and reporting

Key duties and responsibilities.

  • Knowledge and understanding of machine types, parts and designs.
  • Engage with existing dealers and end users to properly stock spare parts
  • Engage with the equipment sales team to maximise parts sales opportunities
  • Proactively engage new dealers and new end users to properly stock new parts
  • Analyse the needs of dealers and end users based on existing machine populations and agree strategies that will result in parts sales growth
  • Provide efficient and timely feedback to all parts enquiries.
  • Present quotes and close sales in a thorough and professional manner
  • Schedule meetings/visits with dealers and end users as required
  • Document and communicate issues that negatively affect customer satisfaction
  • Engage with finance department as required to resolve outstanding issues
  • Liaise directly with transport companies to ensure timely and cost effective delivery of parts.
  • Develop the strategic plan on how to enhance parts sales in the next 5 years.
  • Provide feedback to internal stakeholders to drive changes to the business to align with market expectations
  • Maintenance and presentation of monthly financial reports including sales, margins and projected month end values.
  • Lead and manage the Inventory Stock Management and associated KPI’s
  • Co-ordinating warranty issues when required.

PERSON SPECIFICATION.

Preferred Education, Experience and Skills

  • A third level Degree in relevant discipline would be preferred but not essential
  • Demonstrate a record of success in sales
  • Experience of working within a busy sales department 
  • Excellent computer literacy skills are essential
  • A highly organised forward planner with excellent time management skills
  • Flexible in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate real attention to detail
  • A self-starter, comfortable working within demanding deadlines 
  • Uncompromising commitment to quality and delivering excellent customer experiences
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment and build strong working relationships with stakeholders and functions
  • You need to be able to work with a variety of different types of people and maintain a willing, helpful attitude and a calm professional manner, even when things are changed at the last minute
  • Strong interpersonal skills for customer and industrial partners' interaction
  • Sound knowledge of the customer environment, structure and processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Clean and valid driving License
