Welding Alloys Group is a large scale producer of wear protection plates for use in quarrying, mining & aggregate applications as well as cement production machinery. Our wearplates are available from stock and include Hardlite, Hardplate and Tuffplate, coming in standard dimensions or made to measure. Our plates can also be fabricated to fit specific parts from drawings and can be bent, formed or cut.
Welding Alloys is well placed to serve the mining and minerals processing sector and material handling sector through the activities of its WA Integra Services division, which offers a high quality service for hardfacing or cladding worn industrial components. WA Integra Services can be performed on-site at the customer's premises or in a WA Workshop, using WA materials, equipment and expertise restoring components to as-new or better condition. Our Integra Division can also provide project management, fabrication and design services
Welding Alloys also manufacture a full and complete range of tubular welding wires, automatic / semi-automatic welding equipment as well as semi/fully automated welding machinery. Established in 1966, it celebrates its 47th birthday in 2013 and employs over 1,200 people globally.
Welding Wires are produced in diameters from 1.0 to 5.0mm in Iron, Cobalt, Nickel and Copper based alloys, for open-arc, gas shielded, submerged arc and plasma welding processes. In addition, a range of metal arc and flame spray wires is produced for powder deposition purposes.
Welding Alloys continues to reinvest all profits back into R&D activities and expansion globally and with a turnover in excess of £160 million the company offers a complete-package' of welding products, services and solutions to all of its customers globally.
