Our design team is constantly engaged in research and development work to improve and extend the company's diverse range of products including Planetary Mixers, Pan Mixers, Rapid Mix 400 mobile plant and the Rapid Jetwash System. We pride ourselves on our pan and planetary mixer range, constantly striving to develop and improve these standard products. Rapid have recently introduced several new and improved products; a range of six new planetary concrete mixers, replacement range of six pan concrete mixers, and a new transportable concrete batching plant, capable of being fitted into one forty-foot container (Rapid Mix 20B).

Planetary Mixers are becoming increasingly popular within the construction industry, used for the production of concrete blocks, bricks, grout and screeds, light weight concrete and roof tiles to name a few. The Planetary Mixers are robust, heavy duty and hard wearing machines designed to produce fast discharge times. There are low waste levels, low maintenance costs and the mixers are easily accessible with the mixer motor and gearbox situated on top, thus are highly efficient and effective for the concrete industry.

Rapid International's Pan Mixers are the most reliable mixers in the production industry with flexibility allowing for simple modifications to suit any production layout. Rapid have recently introduced new and improved mixer arms and legs to the pan mixer range. The new arms have proved more robust than ever whilst the pan mixer legs have been redesigned to incorporate a hard wearing plate. Furthermore, we have developed longer lasting chill cast wear sleeved to the pan mixer legs. These renewed and revitalised products serve to increase efficiency, reduce costs and provide the customer with the highest quality products.

We recently launched our new Rapid Jetwash System. This self-contained machine promises to radically reduce production time and eliminate the time spent in the mixer. It has the capability of washing up to four mixers, has fully automated features, has a lower water consumption and is self-contained thus saving space, maintenance and water costs. Products such as these are designed by Rapid International to be environmentally and economically beneficial, yet maintaining their high quality and efficiency.

Rapid products, including recently new products such as the Jetwash System and our new Plasma Cutter, attract many purchasers worldwide. Sales in the Republic of Ireland have increased, exports to the USA and Middle-East remain strong and the UK market is performing excellently. Rapid International have recently returned from the ConExpo Show, Las Vegas, USA, one of the worlds largest exhibits for the construction industries. Rapid products proved very popular with the US market rendering an increase in export sales from Northern Ireland.

Rapid provides a transport service, established three years ago, which is situated at our Headquarters in Tandragee, Northern Ireland. This service is mainly used for the movement of our own products enabling us to know exactly where our products are enabling us to guarantee delivery to customers on time, without depending on a third party. Earlier this year we added new vehicles to the fleet due to the increase in our own products and the number of outside haulage contracts. We offer a wide range of services from general haulage throughout the UK and Ireland with a 24/48 hour turnarounds.
