Summit Systems are a privately UK owned supplier of material and product handling solutions for plastic extrusion, blow moulding, injection moulding and non plastic applications such as grains, granules and powders. They have a unique ability; within their field; to be free to source equipment from whichever supplier they believe offers the best in class. Other suppliers within the plastics industry are UK divisions of overseas manufacturers and as such are only able to offer one brand of equipment.

Summit have the strongest and most trusted service network in their field, reflected by their customers within the plastics processing industry, voting them Ancillary Supplier of the Year on 6 occasions.

Summit Systems were pioneers of the genuine 24/7 service philosophy within the plastics industry and remain the market leaders in this area. They have carried their "can do" attitude through to the other industries they now supply.  An increasing number of the Company's customers are reaping the benefits of signing up to their Preventative Maintenance Contracts. A series of options which ensure that manufacturing equipment stays in optimum condition, returning minimum downtime, less waste and more profit.  Servicing by Summit Systems engineers provides customers with thorough service reports which help them comply with ISO9001 and TS16949 quality standards and with 2 million of stock available for next day deliver there's no need to worry that you have not been supplied with the original manufacturers spares.

Twenty years ago when the Company was founded, pipe work and bespoke alterations for installations was typically a contracted out expense for all suppliers of this type of machinery. Summit's management team could see that this was expensive for the customer and so they have developed their own metal fabrication operation. This provides a cost saving to the customer and more control over projects for the Summit's technical engineers.

Now all pipe systems; including bends, are fabricated in-house and alterations to equipment and special adaptations, such as flexible silo's and big bag discharge stands are also manufactured on Summit's premises.

Summit Systems portfolio of equipment ranges from individual units and systems for the plastics industry, including blending and dosing equipment, loaders, conveying equipment, magnetic platens for the injection moulding market, pick and place robotics, dehumidifying dryers, rotor wheel dryers and Low Pressure Dryers, through to material handling systems for many other applications. Increasingly popular is their range of ATEX approved vacuum conveying equipment and the recycling units and systems proved by a dedicated division of the company.

Flexible silos have been very popular with customers. Installed inside and designed especially for the space you have available, even if it is a small footprint but can go higher. These flexible silos are made from breathable material, are easy to install and their lightweight construction means that transport costs are kept low. They can be connected to existing pipe work or bespoke options are available.
